Julia Lazar’s personal trifecta of food, art & lifestyle has proven to be a winning combination. As co-director of the California based Firehouse Art Collective, Julia Lazar and partner Tom Franco, provide spaces for artists to co create currency, and a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration.

With a Hungarian temperament born in Old world Austria, Julia was exposed to all the arts from an early age. Her father, Imre Lazar a Hungarian filmmaker, and mother Marika, a graphic artist and designer, both inspired her to develop a naturally intuitive sense for combining interdisciplinary art.
During personal time, Julia Lazar applies her culinary education from Cordon Bleu (Paris) to create leisure meals with friends and enjoys making a home for her life partner and their two dogs in Oakland, California.
